I had a mixed experience at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center. The location is fantastic, close to the river and local restaurants. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist me during a busy wedding weekend. However, I encountered some issues with my room and service that detracted from my stay, including confusion with my reservation and noise from events in the hotel.

Rooms
5.0
The room I initially reserved was changed without notice, and I wasn't very pleased. While it was clean and the bed was comfortable, I could tell the maintenance could use some attention. Plus, the noise from events filtered through, which made it hard to relax.
Service
6.0
The staff were generally helpful, especially considering the chaos of the weekend. They accommodated some of my requests promptly, though I did experience some delays and a lack of acknowledgment at times.
Location
8.0
I loved the hotel's downtown location; I could easily walk to various restaurants and enjoy the river views nearby. This convenience definitely enhanced my experience.
Dining
5.0
I appreciated the on-site dining options, but I missed out on breakfast since I wasn't informed about the end time. Though, the meals offered looked appealing during my visit.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel has good facilities, but they could benefit from better organization and options on weekends, like having the Executive Lounge open or more staff available during busy times.

My recent stay at Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center had its ups and downs. The valet service was truly really good, as they handled a large influx of guests efficiently and courteously. The location is fantastic, providing easy access to local attractions and the beautiful view of the Mississippi River is a definite highlight. However, I encountered issues in my room with noise and a smaller size than I expected, which were a bit disappointing.

Rooms
6.0
I stayed in a standard king room which felt quite small. I had issues with a loud ticking noise throughout my stay that disrupted my sleep. The bathroom experience was not ideal as I had to step into the shower to turn it on, which wasn't pleasant. Overall, while my room was comfortable, it did show signs of age.
Service
10.0
The valet parking staff was excellent during my visit. They went out of their way to ensure that everything ran smoothly during my daughter's wedding, and I have never experienced such attentive service anywhere else. On the downside, during my own stay, I had some trouble with room necessities not being promptly addressed.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is amazing, right alongside the river. It's within walking distance of many downtown attractions, which made it very convenient for exploring the area. The picturesque view from the balcony room couldn't be overlooked.
Dining
9.0
I found the dining options on the hotel to be quite good. The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety, and the food served through room service was also high quality and presented well. It definitely enhanced my overall experience.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel features several good amenities, including an executive lounge that provided excellent service and nice views. However, I was disappointed in the room's upkeep and outdated furnishings, which detracted from the overall experience.

I had a great stay at Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center, thanks to the incredibly friendly staff and the excellent location. The room was comfortable and clean, though I found the lighting to be a bit limited for working. I also enjoyed the delicious room service from the restaurant downstairs. Overall, my experience was positive, but there were minor inconveniences like the lack of lounge access during my stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food from the restaurant, as room service brought it quickly and it was delicious. However, I missed the lounge service during my stay.

My stay at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center had its ups and downs. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of downtown with stunning views of the Mississippi River, and the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. However, I encountered some issues with my room, including a small bathroom and mixed-up toiletries (definitely not what I expected). Overall, I'd consider staying here again, but I'd be more cautious about the room I choose next time.

Rooms

I had a king room, which was small and somewhat unremarkable. The bathroom could have used more space, and I had issues with the shower setup (I had to step in to turn it on). The room was clean, but not very spacious.
Service
9.0
The staff were exceptionally kind throughout my stay. Valet parking and check-in were quick, and the front desk was attentive when I reached out with issues. I appreciated their efforts.

I didn't get to enjoy a full breakfast since it ended at 9am, but room service was solid during my stay. The food quality stood out as a highlight, even if service was a bit slow at times.
Facilities

Facilities like valet service were efficient, and the outdoor pool area looked nice (though I didn't have time to use it). Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel's amenities, but I wished for a bit more modern availability in my room.

My stay at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center had its ups and downs. The lovely view from my club-level room overlooking the Mississippi River was definitely a highlight. However, I faced a lot of issues with room cleanliness and customer service that put a damper on my experience. Overall, it's a mixed bag, with some really nice aspects but also some pretty frustrating ones.

Rooms
5.0
I was in a room on the club level that had a great view, but it felt a bit dated and cleanliness was a concern. Some areas were just okay, like the furniture and overall upkeep, which didn't match the hotel's supposed standards.
Service
5.0
While most of the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the valet and bar staff, I had some frustrating encounters with the front desk. I felt like they were a bit robotic and not very attentive when it came to resolving issues.
Location
9.0
The location is pretty awesome, right in downtown Baton Rouge. You can easily walk to nearby restaurants and attractions, which was super convenient.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were good, and I loved the buffet breakfast! The restaurant staff were nice, and everything I ordered was delivered promptly. I just wish the overall experience matched the quality of the food.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had decent facilities, but the valet parking was overpriced at $29 a day, which added a hefty amount to my stay. I also found the pool area crowded and not very enjoyable.
