I had a mixed experience at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center. The location is fantastic, close to the river and local restaurants. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist me during a busy wedding weekend. However, I encountered some issues with my room and service that detracted from my stay, including confusion with my reservation and noise from events in the hotel.

The room I initially reserved was changed without notice, and I wasn't very pleased. While it was clean and the bed was comfortable, I could tell the maintenance could use some attention. Plus, the noise from events filtered through, which made it hard to relax.

My recent stay at Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center had its ups and downs. The valet service was truly really good, as they handled a large influx of guests efficiently and courteously. The location is fantastic, providing easy access to local attractions and the beautiful view of the Mississippi River is a definite highlight. However, I encountered issues in my room with noise and a smaller size than I expected, which were a bit disappointing.

The bathroom experience was not ideal as I had to step into the shower to turn it on, which wasn't pleasant. Overall, while my room was comfortable, it did show signs of age.

The valet parking staff was excellent during my visit. They went out of their way to ensure that everything ran smoothly during my daughter's wedding, and I have never experienced such attentive service anywhere else.
